Business Coaching
Psychologically based business coaching for specialists and managers to reflect on professional challenges and develop coherent solutions.
Context
Strengthening self-management and mental stability in leadership roles
Leadership means making decisions, clarifying conflicts and providing orientation. In complex organizations, it is not only external demands that have an impact, but also internal dynamics such as perfectionism, self-criticism and emotional triggers.
Business coaching supports managers in recognizing these inner patterns, reflecting on their impact and acting more consciously. The aim is to strengthen decision-making skills, reduce escalation and remain professional and clear even in challenging situations.
My work combines organizational psychology expertise with systemic solution-oriented and relationship-oriented approaches as well as working with inner parts. This results in solutions that can be implemented in the work context and have a lasting effect.
overview
In business coaching, I support specialists and managers with psychological issues that arise in everyday working life. These include questions about leadership roles, self-management and inner dynamics such as perfectionism or self-doubt. Stress, exhaustion or the desire for more resilience can also be reasons for coaching. Several of these topics often intertwine and are linked together in coaching depending on the situation.
The following topics are at the center of my coaching work.
Leadership coaching
Clarification of your leadership role, decision-making processes and responsibility in an organizational context. We reflect on specific leadership situations and develop viable solutions for challenging team and change dynamics.
High sensitivity
Support for highly sensitive leaders dealing with stress, perfectionism, and challenging leadership situations. We understand internal dynamics, strengthen your self-management skills, and develop tailored strategies for day-to-day leadership.
Perfectionism
Support when high demands create increasing pressure. We analyze typical situations, identify inner drivers and critical evaluation patterns and develop realistic ways of dealing with performance, responsibility and expectations.
Self-leadership
Coaching focuses on the inner dynamics that shape leadership: emotional triggers, conflict patterns, perfectionism and self-doubt. We work on self-leadership that remains stable and reflective even under pressure.
Resilience
Developing a stable inner foundation for demanding leadership tasks. We work on sustainable self-regulation, clear up energy robbers and strengthen psychological resources to ensure long-term performance and health.
Stress and burnout
Support in the event of acute overload or the first signs of exhaustion. We analyze stress factors, identify inner drivers and compensatory behavior patterns and develop concrete steps to relieve stress in order to prevent chronic exhaustion and burnout.
Process
How do we set up business coaching?
1. Getting to know each other
In a free video call, we check whether the chemistry is right. We talk about your overarching goal for the coaching, my approach and our expectations.
2nd kick-off meeting
We clarify the coaching goals and discuss how we want to organize the collaboration. Once the basics have been clarified, we can start working on the content.
3. decision
After the kick-off meeting, we decide whether and how we will continue working. If necessary, we record the framework conditions in a brief coaching agreement.
4. accompaniment
We work with suitable methods and impulses as part of an individual coaching process that is geared towards your topics and goals.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions about business coaching
Does business coaching also make sense if I am basically functioning well?
Many specialists and managers do not seek coaching because they are in a crisis. Externally, everyday working life often works well. At the same time, internal pressure arises due to responsibility, self-doubt, perfectionism or high expectations.
Coaching offers a space to pause and reflect on your own role, ways of thinking and decision-making processes. The aim is to gain more clarity about your own patterns and to develop a more conscious approach to demands and responsibility.
How can I tell whether coaching makes sense for my situation?
Coaching can be useful if certain issues keep cropping up in everyday working life or are increasingly tying up energy. Typical issues are, for example
- when decisions are difficult or uncertainty increases
- when high demands or perfectionism lead to pressure
- when self-doubt occurs again and again despite competence
- when stress or responsibility permanently cost energy
- if you want to reflect on your own role or cooperation within the team
Coaching creates a structured framework for clarifying such situations and developing new options for action in everyday working life.
When is business coaching appropriate and when is psychotherapy?
Business coaching is aimed at mentally healthy individuals and focuses on professional issues such as leadership, collaboration, decision-making processes or dealing with stress.
In coaching, we work with psychological models and reflection methods to better understand inner dynamics, ways of thinking and decision-making processes. The aim is to expand the scope for action in a professional context.
If mental illnesses are in the foreground or therapeutic treatment is indicated, this belongs to the field of psychotherapy.
What happens if I realize after the kick-off meeting that it's not a good fit?
Chemistry and mutual trust are the basis for successful coaching. The kick-off meeting explicitly serves as Test field. If you (or I) realize afterwards that my way of working or the setting is not optimally suited to your concerns, the process ends at this point. In this case, only the individual session will be charged according to the conditions for the kick-off session and there will be no further obligations.
How is confidentiality ensured in coaching?
As an occupational and organizational psychologist, I am subject to the legal duty of confidentiality. A protected space is the prerequisite for you to be able to talk openly about challenges. Everything you bring to the table remains between us and is not communicated to the outside world. If your company finances the coaching, we clearly agree in advance that only organizational details will be communicated.
How is a coaching process structured and how high is the investment?
An overview of the structure of the coaching process and the investment can be found on the page Investment. The duration, meeting frequency and conditions are transparently presented there.
Where do the coaching sessions take place and are they also available online?
Coaching sessions take place in my coaching room in Zurich on Zeltweg 10 or online takes place. Information about the Coaching in Zurich can be found on the main page. I support team development directly in the respective organization.
How much time do I need to invest between sessions?
Work on your own self-management primarily takes place in everyday life, not just during meetings. Ideally, you should plan about 30 to 60 minutes for reflection or the implementation of small impulses.
